What happens on the card

Drawn like a colour manga page, ink and screentones. The ball comes in from the back row, the setter tosses it high, and the hero (spiky hair, red headband, number 7) runs in and jumps by himself. A ring waits where the toss reaches its top: tap when it turns green and he swings. A SPIKE smashes through the blockers' hands, ZUBAAN!; right in the middle of the green is a SUPER SPIKE, with a cut-in of his eyes. Too early and the block stuffs it, too late and it dies on the net. The tosses get faster, a second then a third blocker joins, and three spikes in a row light the ZONE. Then match point, the last super spike, the whistle, the team tosses the hero in the air and the manager brings the birthday cake onto the court, their name and age above.

Who it is for

Volleyball players and beach volley people, the whole team, sports anime fans, and anyone who has stood at the net waiting for the toss.
