What happens on the card

Drawn like a colour manga page, ink, speed lines and hand-lettered sound words. The finger is the blade: swipe through the sweets the rival ninja throws up from the veranda and each bursts in two, ZAN!, in a puff of powdered sugar: mochi, dango skewers, taiyaki, strawberry daifuku. Several in one swipe is a combo. The green wasabi balls with the grumpy face must not be cut: one makes the hero's eyes water and empties the streak, never ends the game. Ten in a row and two shadow clones join in with rainbow blades, every point double; twice a giant golden mochi needs a clean cut through its middle. At the end the rival shouts LAST ONE! and throws a whole birthday cake: one swipe cuts it into eight perfect pieces that land back together on his tray. The two ninjas bow behind the cake, their name and age above.
