The service
MyBirthdayCards (mybirthdaycards.com) lets you make a personal birthday card with a mini-game and send it as a link. It is operated by GoLive Software LLC. Making and previewing a card is free; sending it is paid.
Prices
Sending a card costs 2.90 € in the euro zone, £2.49 in the United Kingdom and $2.90 everywhere else, taxes included, paid once per card through Stripe. There is no subscription. The price is shown before you pay and on your invoice.
Refunds
If a card could not be opened by the person it was sent to, or did not work on their device, we refund it: write to [email protected] with the link within 30 days.
Your content
The words in a card are yours. You keep every right to them and you give us only what is needed to show the card at its link. Do not use a card to harass, threaten or deceive anyone, or to publish what you have no right to publish; we remove such cards and may close the account.
Our content
The games, the drawings, the music and the code are ours or used under their licences (the sounds are CC0 recordings, credited in the site). A card is for personal use: you may share its link with whoever you like, not resell it.
Availability
We do our best to keep every card at its link for as long as the service runs, and we back the data up twice a day. We cannot promise the service will never be interrupted.
Changes
If these terms change, the date above changes with them. Questions: [email protected].
