Four steps

  1. Say who it is for. Their first name and age, and a few words about them: what they love, a running joke, the thing everyone knows them for. Any language works.
  2. Pick the game and the look. The card picks a design from those words. Change it if you like: 30 mini-games and animated scenes, a dozen celebrations, the message, the colours and the fonts, all on one screen.
  3. Write the message. A title, your words, a P.S. and your name as the sender. The card shows them exactly as they will be read, on a phone and on a computer.
  4. Send the link. One link, sent on WhatsApp, by text, by email or wherever they are. It costs 2.90 € in the euro zone, £2.49 in the United Kingdom and $2.90 everywhere else. The card opens in the browser, without any app, as many times as they like.

What the birthday person gets

They tap the link and the card opens on their screen, with their name on it. They play the mini-game (about twenty seconds, no way to lose), the cake arrives, and your message is read. They can replay it, keep the card in a free account, and send you a thank-you from the card itself.

What you get

A note when the card is opened, the card kept in Your cards with its link, and the person's birthday remembered for next year.

What it costs

Making and previewing a card is free. Sending it costs 2.90 € in the euro zone, £2.49 in the United Kingdom and $2.90 everywhere else: one price per card, paid by card through Stripe, with an invoice in your account. There is no subscription and nothing to install. See the FAQ for the details.
