Most birthday cards online are a template with a name typed in. We wanted the opposite: a card where the person is the point. Their name is in the game, the game is chosen from what they love, the message is yours, and opening it takes twenty seconds of play before the cake.
What we believe
- Personal beats polished. A few true words about someone are worth more than a perfect template.
- One price, no tricks. You pay 2.90 € in the euro zone, £2.49 in the United Kingdom and $2.90 everywhere else for a card you send. No subscription, no ads, no data for sale.
- The phone first. Cards are opened on a phone, between two messages. Everything fits the screen and is played with one finger.
- Real craft. The games are drawn and coded by hand, the sounds are real recordings, and a new game lands most weeks.
Who makes it
MyBirthdayCards is made by GoLive Software, a small team of senior engineers led by Vincent Roye, a French engineer based in Vietnam. We build it the way we would want our own cards made.
