Why a card with a game
At eighty, the card is often played on someone else’s phone, at the table, with the family around. Pick a gentle game, the penguin, the frog or the panda, and write the message from everyone.
The games that suit them
- Penguin birthday card: A round little penguin, snowy hills, and the joy of flying off the top of every one of them.
- Frog birthday card: A frog in a party hat, a pond full of lily pads, and a cake waiting on the island.
- Panda birthday card: A panda in a baker’s hat builds the tallest birthday cake it can. With your help.
What to write in a 80th birthday card
The message is yours. If you need a start:
- “Happy 80th birthday! Eighty years of love, and all of us to show for it.”
- “To an amazing eighty years. We love you.”
- “Happy birthday! Here is to the next chapter.”

Questions
Can I put their name in the 80th birthday card?
Yes. Their first name and age are written into the game itself. You choose the title, the message, a P.S., the celebration at the end, the colours and the fonts, and you can switch between the 30 games without losing your words.
How much does it cost?
Making and previewing the card is free. Sending it costs 2.60 € in the euro zone, £2.20 in the United Kingdom and $2.90 everywhere else, once, with no subscription.
How do they open it?
From a link, sent on WhatsApp, by text or by email. It opens in their browser, on a phone or a computer, with no app and no account, and the link does not expire. You are told when they open it.
Can they lose the game?
No. Every game lasts about twenty seconds and always ends on the birthday cake with their name, whatever they do.
