Why a card with a game

People turning thirty now grew up with the nineties phone snake and the arcade classics, so those are the first picks, remade one letter off around a cake. The funny cat is for the ones who would rather laugh about the number.

The games that suit them

  • 90s birthday card: The game everyone played on the indestructible phone of the late nineties. Now it is made of candy.
  • 80s birthday card: The yellow-dot maze of every eighties arcade, remade for a birthday: candy instead of dots, and a cake in the middle.
  • Funny cat birthday card: Based on the rumour that went round the internet before Halloween: a cat in a hat, terrorising Marseille. We made it a birthday.

What to write in a 30th birthday card

The message is yours. If you need a start:

  • “Happy 30th! Dirty thirty, fresh as ever.”
  • “Thirty is the new twenty. Happy birthday!”
  • “Welcome to your thirties: better taste, same bad jokes. Happy birthday.”

Questions

Can I put their name in the 30th birthday card?

Yes. Their first name and age are written into the game itself. You choose the title, the message, a P.S., the celebration at the end, the colours and the fonts, and you can switch between the 30 games without losing your words.

How much does it cost?

Making and previewing the card is free. Sending it costs 2.60 € in the euro zone, £2.20 in the United Kingdom and $2.90 everywhere else, once, with no subscription.

How do they open it?

From a link, sent on WhatsApp, by text or by email. It opens in their browser, on a phone or a computer, with no app and no account, and the link does not expire. You are told when they open it.

Can they lose the game?

No. Every game lasts about twenty seconds and always ends on the birthday cake with their name, whatever they do.
