What happens when they open it
- The card opens with a gesture. They pull it open, or tap it, on their phone or computer.
- They play. A mini-game or an animated scene of about twenty seconds, with their first name and age written in it. There is no way to lose.
- The celebration. The birthday cake with their name, then the celebration you picked: confetti, fireworks, a disco ball, lanterns and a dozen more.
- Your message. Your title, your words, a P.S. and your name, exactly as you wrote them. They can reply with a thank-you from the card, and keep it in a free account.

Made in about twenty seconds
Type their first name, their age and a few words about them. The card picks a game and a look from those words, and you can change every part of it on one screen. Then you send the link on WhatsApp, by text or by email, and you are told when it is opened. The steps are on How it works.

Questions
What makes a birthday card interactive?
They do something with it instead of only reading it. On MyBirthdayCards the card opens with a gesture, then they play a short mini-game with their name in it, and the celebration and your message come at the end.
Do they need an app or an account?
No. The card is a link. It opens in the browser of any phone or computer, with no app, no account and no download, and the link does not expire.
Can they lose the game?
No. Every game lasts about twenty seconds and always ends on the birthday cake with their name, whatever they do.
Is their name spelled right?
Yes. The name is the one you type, written into the game and the message exactly as you typed it, accents included. Nothing guesses or rewrites it.
How much does an interactive birthday card cost?
Making and previewing it is free. Sending it costs 2.60 € in the euro zone, £2.20 in the United Kingdom and $2.90 everywhere else, once, with no subscription and no trial that turns into one.
