What happens on the card

A calm lake among the mountains, and a little island drifting about on it: two pines, a picnic table with balloons, and a beaver in a party hat throwing maple leaves onto the water in big arcs. The canoe goes where the finger is: every glowing leaf it paddles into is a maple point, a floating cupcake is worth three, and eight in a row set off a paddle rush with a rainbow wake. A floating log and a moose swimming across are the only things to steer round. Halfway through the island sinks into a puff of mist and pops up somewhere else, just for the show. At the dock the beaver brings the birthday cake, confetti, their name and age; with an age, one of the balloons is a gold number balloon.
