Personal birthday cards with a mini-game inside
MyBirthdayCards makes a birthday card about one person, in about 20 seconds. You give their first name and a few words about them, the card designs itself: a mini-game with their name in it, a celebration, your message. You send it as a link; they open it in their browser, on a phone or a computer, with no app and no account.
It is a birthday e-card of a new kind: not a picture or a video with a name typed in, but an animated, interactive card the person plays. Popular themes: cat, dog, funny, anime, gamer, 80s, space and Halloween birthday cards.
What is in a card
- One of 45 mini-games (news, sports, animals, arcade oldies, film parodies, manga), under a minute long, with no way to lose and a cake at the end.
- A celebration (confetti, fireworks, a disco ball...), a title, your message, a P.S. and your name, in any language.
- A link that does not expire, a note when the card is opened, and a thank-you the person can send you back.
What it costs
Making and previewing a card is free. Sending one costs 2.60 € in the euro zone, £2.20 in the United Kingdom, CHF 2.40 in Switzerland and $2.90 everywhere else. No subscription needed, no ads: for those who send many, there is also an optional annual plan: unlimited cards for a year at $19.90 (17.90 €, £15.00, CHF 16.40), a launch price instead of $29.90, renewed each year and cancelable at any time.
